I just received THIS from the pages of JALOUSE… taken from a  party @ the Château we designed during the Festival de Cannes!

(…everyone really liked the hunting trophies which really were photogenic!)

On my desk this morning waiting for me was a fantastic surprise of two incredible works by the incredible artist Paul Mpagi Sepuya, along with a really great book, Studio Work,  from his residency at the Studio Museum in Harlem.  As an interior designer, I love how his photographs use the studio space to build almost classical compositions. These scenes become very rich and painterly portraits even when there is no human actually present.

Thanks Paul!

You can see more of Paul’s work HERE!

Konstantin Kakanias IS Athens and Athens is crazy…. I highly recommend you follow Madame Tependris (see below) on her intensely personal, and highly enlightened journey through Greek history and the Contemporary art scene…you’ll be so much happier if you do.

I made something really vibrant, really flowery, and really PINK for our Swiss friends who opened the After The Rain Spa in Paris this summer…..

Hey look! Another restaurant project has made it into Elle Decor…Merci, Elle Decor!

The very same project was featured this summer in Le BonBon with some nice pics:

I recently collaborated with some cool people to give the Motorvillage – Fiat/Alfa Romeo/Lancia/Maserati showroom on the Champs-Elysées a glamorous makeover for summer…. It was especially great to work with David Rager, as ususal, who creates killer graphics….the project was produced by the super crew at Artdicted ,  and Rafael from Plan-8 produced a series of really hot Kenneth Anger inspired video pieces.
